We are excited about this year’s Maternal-Fetal Imaging program presented by luminaries in our field. Designed with all learners in mind – novice to advanced – our faculty will share their vast expertise covering the hottest topics in OB/GYN ultrasound. Topics will include dating and elements of early loss, and the new AIUM detailed first-trimester practice parameter. The fetal organ systems will be covered in depth, with a comprehensive session on the fetal heart. There will be a special concentration on imaging pearls and the systematic approach to diagnosis of various anomalies. Most interestingly, our faculty will share personal mistakes, with an enlightening session on obstetric legal cases. Our gynecologic section will cover the full gamut – how to improve the basic gynecologic examination through the up-and-coming role of ultrasound in the infertility patient. Join us for this complimentary 1-hour streaming presentation “Interpretation of Carotid Ultrasound: Common and Unusual Pathology " Presented by Ann Marie Kupinski, Ph.D., RVT, RDMS, FSVU. We will enjoy a 45-minute presentation then participate in a live 15 minute Q & A session with the faculty.

This course will emphasize a new classification system on breast cancer and will focus on “non”-mass ultrasound findings, an analysis of causes of false-negative BI-RADS 3 classifications, and new ways of classifying breast nodules that can help objectively assign BI-RADS 4 subcategories and improve ultrasound’s ability to serve as a biomarker. I will lead interactive case readings with an audience response system, and we have time set aside for questions and answers” – Tom Stavros.
