CIMI encompasses an extemporary group of data modelers designed to accomplish consensus among clinicians by enumerating the detailed models of a large number (hundreds to thousands) of medical ideas. One of the primary motives of CIMI is to make detailed clinical models freely accessible without any intellectual property issues. CIMI could be employed within healthcare systems for different purposes including reporting templates, automating constructing data entry, defining structured documents or standard messages, etc. Members of the CIMI group comprise different organizations such as government offices from the USA and other countries, private entities like Mayo clinic that collaboratively endeavor to define clinical information standards for elements corresponding to miscellaneous health conditions and vitals like blood sugar levels, heart rate, and so-forth.
