New AMA Blueprint seeks to tap the full potential of Digital Health
Healthcare companies have opportunities to thrive in digitally enabled care thanks to six basic principles that were established with input from stakeholders and industry professionals. The American Medical Association had provided a blueprint as a call to action to deal with the gap between the extraordinary amounts of financing, collaborations, mergers, and acquisitions in the field of digital health, and their meagre influence on healthcare quality improvement so far. Six pillars of action are suggested by the AMA in the publication Closing the Digital Health Disconnect: Blueprint for Optimising Digitally Enabled Care.
