BlueCross NC Announces Behavioral Health Partnership
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina recently announced a partnership with mental healthcare company Headway to improve access to underserved communities. On July 13, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) announced via a press release that it is expanding its network of behavioral health providers through a partnership with New York City-based Headway, a mental healthcare company that collaborates with insurers to deliver mental healthcare. “The collaboration comes as Blue Cross NC is investing more than $2 million to support 11 community organizations working to improve access to behavioral health services,” the release concludes.
