Moving into the future, where patient experience is going to start on the computer, not in the doctor’s office, organizations are going to need to work with those online provider review websites. In the past, Lee noted a lot of clinicians, himself included, might shrug off online comments.
But times are changing, and with the spike in telehealth visits, many providers still encountered care access barriers. Broadband can be a big limitation to an adequate telehealth visit, most experts agree. At the same time, a video visit just might not be in the cards for a particular patient.
