Standard Occupational Classification (SOC): Semiconductor Processing Technicians

Semiconductor processing technicians in healthcare do not typically exist. These job roles are more commonly found in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, where they are responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the production of semiconductor devices, such as computer chips. They may also be responsible for monitoring the equipment, troubleshooting and resolving problems, and performing routine maintenance.

In healthcare, there may be similar roles such as Biomedical equipment technicians or laboratory technicians that are responsible for the repair, installation, and maintenance of medical equipment. They may also be responsible for the setup, operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments.
