Assist in efficiencies of reads and reduce errors by identifying suspicious regions of interest
The Paige Prostate Suite is a set of AI applications designed to assist pathologists in the detection and diagnosis of prostate cancer. The suite includes Paige Prostate Detect, Paige Prostate Grade & Quantify, and Paige Prostate Perineural Invasion.
Paige Prostate Detect aims to improve the sensitivity and specificity of the diagnosis of prostate cancer by identifying suspicious regions of interest in scanned whole slide images from prostate needle biopsies. A study submitted to the FDA and leading to the first FDA approval of a pathology AI application, found that Paige Prostate Detect resulted in an average 70% reduction in false negative diagnoses.
Paige Prostate Grade & Quantify assists pathologists in evaluating values for overall tumor percentage and tumor length by highlighting areas suspicious for cancer and categorizing them by Gleason pattern. This application aims to reduce inter- and intra-observer variability by helping pathologists standardize their approach to grading of prostate cancer.
Paige Prostate Perineural Invasion (PNI) aids pathologists in identifying the presence of suspicious foci around nerve fibers within the prostate, providing comprehensive insights to assist in a more confident diagnosis. When combined with detection, Gleason grade and tumor percentage, PNI detection can provide pathologists with a more comprehensive understanding of the cancer.
