SA Health and the Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health (CEIH) have launched the South Australia Statewide Patient Reported Measures (PRMs) Program, aimed at gathering patient health outcomes and experiences to inform clinical decision-making. The program utilizes The Clinician's ZEDOC solution, integrated into the Sunrise EMR system. The first implementation at the South Australian Medical Imaging (SAMI) Nuclear Medicine Theranostics Service of The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH) was successful, with clinicians and patients reporting positive experiences. The program will be rolled out to other services, with customization to meet specific requirements. Cybersecurity measures are in place to protect patient information, with the ZEDOC solution meeting SA Health's security standards.
