A recent study involving 108 hospital and health system C-suite executives revealed that nearly two-thirds of them believe digital health is improving access to care. However, the focus on using digital health to enhance patient experience has declined as a priority for these executives. The report from Sage Growth Partners highlighted that improving clinical efficiencies is now considered the most significant benefit of digital health, whereas patient engagement held the top spot in the previous year's survey. The top five digital health priorities for the next 12 months, according to the executives, include care coordination (67%), telehealth (53%), remote patient monitoring (50%), patient self-scheduling (46%), and revenue cycle solutions (44%).
