Innovaccer has acquired a 100% stake in Cured, a move that adds more than 20 health systems and digital health clients to its portfolio. The three cofounders of Cured will assume leadership roles within Innovaccer. The acquisition aims to enhance Innovaccer's focus on improving patient experiences and transitioning from encounter-based care to experience-driven care. Cured's expertise in healthcare customer relationship management (CRM), with its library of healthcare-specific journeys and AI-enhanced propensity models, aligns with Innovaccer's goal to transform the patient experience. Innovaccer's AI assistant, Sara, launched in August, plays a key role in automating workflows and supporting healthcare leaders. The acquisition is part of Innovaccer's strategy to transition from fee-for-service to value-based care, move from encounter-based care to experience-driven care, and shift from burnout to AI-driven productivity. Current Cured customers, including UCHealth, VCU Health, Sutter Health, HonorHealth, and others, can expect uninterrupted service during the transition.
