Curta Selected as Partner to the Peterson Health Technology Institute (PHTI) to Provide Independent Health Technology Assessment Evaluations of Innovative Digital Health Technologies

The Peterson Health Technology Institute (PHTI) was established in 2023 with a $50 million grant from the Peterson Center on Healthcare, aiming to evaluate innovative digital health technologies to improve healthcare quality and lower costs. PHTI collaborates with Curta, a leader in health technology assessment, to provide independent assessments. They will apply a unique assessment framework, developed in coordination with the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER), to analyze the clinical benefits, economic impact, health equity, privacy, and security aspects of digital health solutions. The global digital health market is projected to reach $1.5 trillion by 2030, but there is a need for rigorous evaluation of these technologies. Curta's expertise and partnership with PHTI aim to fill this gap by providing evidence-based assessments for healthcare decision-makers at various levels.
