CVS Files Patent To Sell Goods And Healthcare Services In The Metaverse
According to a document submitted to the US Patent and Trade Office, CVS Health has applied for a trademark that would enable them to market products and services in the metaverse. A network of virtual worlds in three dimensions is known as a metaverse. It's frequently referred to as an online experience that works as a single, interconnected digital universe made possible by the usage of virtual and augmented reality headgear.Since Facebook announced its plans to introduce a metaverse, which would effectively offer a 3D, virtual version of its social media platform, the phrase has become more well-known. Facebook even went so far as to rebrand as Meta, an umbrella organization that controls the social media sites Facebook and Instagram.
