Sheba Medical Deploys AI Lung Cancer Diagnostics Platform
Sheba Medical Centre, Israel's largest medical Centre, announced the launch of a new expedited, AI-powered cancer diagnostics research platform today, which can reduce testing time from three weeks to minutes. -The platform combines Sheba-developed technology with emerging digital health firms to boost the pathology department's diagnostic capabilities.- The first algorithm included, created by precision oncology firm Imagene, detects actionable biomarkers of non-small cell lung cancer and provides critical diagnostic information in minutes.
