A new paradigm has been put forth by a group of researchers to evaluate the evidence supporting digital health initiatives.
The framework, known as Evidence in Digital Health for Effectiveness of INterventions with Evaluative Depth (Evidence DEFINED), aims to enable standard and quick evaluations of digital health intervention evidence in organisations and direct providers of digital health solutions in producing evidence that motivates the adoption of these interventions. The framework was created by researchers from a variety of institutions, including Case Western Reserve University, Elevance Health, the Digital Medicine Society, and AstraZeneca.
