No, AI Won’t Kill Creativity
In a recent conversation, a well-known illustrator friend of mine (Andrea Koncz) voiced his displeasure with artificial intelligence. Several creative professionals joined our discussion as it spread online and lamented the alleged demise of art, creativity, and, as a result, our careers.
I threw in my two cents, saying that AI should not be seen as a rival but rather as a tool that fits our times. I argued that because I lack the necessary skills, neither ChatGPT nor Midjourney would make someone into a journalist or a graphic designer.
