What Have We Learned from the Pandemic? Digital Leadership Competence of the Modern Leader
The traditional model of a boss or someone in charge, focusing on command-control and utilizing the style of rewarding or punishing subordinates, has produced an antiquated experience in managing human capital while constructing an environment of psychological stability, collaboration, and innovation. These are currently essential in the field of healthcare. In the past, doctors frequently served as the industry's leaders in healthcare, serving as models of charismatic and entrepreneurial leadership, while in the public sector, seasoned managers and physicians headed the institutions. Rising prices, quickening demographic and epidemiological change, and the draw of private investors have all contributed to significant changes in healthcare during the past 50 years. In particular, the patient's role has changed from one of being "passive" to one that is more unique and proactive (Patrnchak 2015).
