Regardless of how advanced our healthcare technologies are, no matter how well-educated our doctors are, or how digitally literate our patients become, without a robust and supportive regulatory framework, progress can only go so far. In essence, the true effectiveness of digital health technologies hinges largely on the strength of the regulations in place.
