Tech Startups Launch Healthcare Innovations as Part of Fort Worth Initiative
A new generation presented its visions for the future on Tuesday in the historic Isis Theater in the Fort Worth stockyards. The 13-week Techstars Physical Health Fort Worth Accelerator, a first-of-its-kind collaboration between the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, UNT's Health Science Center, Goff Capital, and Techstars, featured the founders of 10 startups from around the world that are creating technology they hope will transform the health care sector. We've seen an acceleration of technology because of what happened with the global pandemic, particularly in telemedicine and digital health solutions, said Managing Director Trey Bowles. "Tonight is a significant night for Fort Worth." The businesses that have graduated from this programme are leading the world in problem-solving.
