5 ways health systems are utilizing data to improve patient care
Hospitals are utilising data analytics to enhance patient care, create clinical insights that are predictive, and improve health outcomes. According to Becker's Hospital Review, five data analytics initiatives that health organisations recently developed and implemented. The Los Angeles area Big data is a major focus at UCLA Health, which is utilising it to improve operations, assess patient satisfaction, forecast disease development, and pinpoint the most uncommon disorders. Cleveland Clinic and Palantir have agreed to work together for ten years to monitor demand, personnel, and capacity while analysing scheduling data to forecast patient admissions and discharges. Highmark Health, based in Pittsburgh, is working with Google Cloud to develop a "data-driven care plan for every member" as part of their ongoing partnership. Ascension, situated in St. Louis, has joined forces with Qualtrics, an experience management firm.
