In a blog post published on November 28th, Google Health announced a new collaboration with the medical technology and cancer detection startup iCAD. This is the internet giant's first commercial licencing arrangement for its mammography AI research model. Google Health announced its first commercial partnership to licence its mammography AI research model for integration in actual clinical practise in a blog post published on November 28. The group will collaborate with iCAD, a provider of medical technology and cancer detection with headquarters in Nashua, New Hampshire. According to the blog post, "iCAD will work on validating and integrating our mammography artificial intelligence technology with its products for use in clinical practises with the goal of increasing breast cancer detection and assessment of short-term personal cancer risk.
