A golden moment for telehealth depends on meeting the need for broadband
The Affordable Connectivity Program was formed by the FCC in December 2021 to offer access and discounted computing equipment. ACP enrollment is cost-free, but not many people take advantage of this. Imagine having $14 billion, but being unable to distribute it. Telehealth could help the Federal Communication Commission solve a similar issue with a crucial broadband award programme. For better or worse, the internet permeates everything we do as people, from raising children to providing medical care. Without the internet, telehealth delivery can be challenging. However, there are still over 28 million American households without internet connection. The Affordable Connectivity Program was formed by the FCC in December 2021 to offer access and discounted computing equipment.
