4 must-haves for doctors to stick with telehealth
Meg Barron, the AMA's vice president of digital health strategy, said during a recent AMA Telehealth Immersion Program webinar that there has never been a greater need to be able to use digital solutions and technologies to help really meet the need of helping to ensure that the patient-physician relationship is as strong as it can be. During the webinar, Barron and Kevin Gajjar, an AMA market research analyst, presented the findings from the most recent AMA digital health research (PDF). In order to assess how the adoption of digital health has changed over time and how physicians' views about using technology have changed, the AMA polled 1,300 physicians countrywide this year and compared their responses with physicians' responses to the questions in 2016 and 2019.
