EHR go-lives by the Numbers: 8 Notable Rollouts in 2021

From EHRs that span several years to deals that surpass billions of dollars, here are the eight most notable EHR go-lives Becker's Hospital Review reported in 2021.

Eight recent EHR go-lives:

  1. Miami-based Health Choice Network is partnering with Epic to launch a new integrated EHR system across its provider network. The $400 million EHR investment will move HCN's 44 health centers onto the same EHR system, letting providers share primary care, oral health, behavioral health, specialty care, pharmacy and population health records on a single platform.

     
  2. Powell (Wyo.) Valley Healthcare will make the transition from its NextGen Healthcare Information Systems EHR to a Cerner system. Powell Valley Healthcare has been using NextGen Healthcare's EHR since 2013. The Cerner EHR will cost Powell Valley Healthcare $357,000 annually.
