Weekly review of denials, performance improves health system revenue
Best practices for improving health system revenue include reviewing claim denials every week and giving feedback to clinicians, and sharing resources across the health care system, says Jane Gray, vice president of revenue cycle at Phoebe Putney Health System. The management team also meets every week to review operational performance targets for each major function, which improves accountability and enables timely correction of problems, Gray says.
