We are pleased to invite you to join us this fall for the 19th Annual Diabetes Technology Meeting, from November 14 to November 16, 2019, at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in North Bethesda, Maryland.
This will be an excellent opportunity to meet leading scientists in the field of diabetes research and learn about the latest technological advances for people with diabetes. Last year's meeting in Bethesda, Maryland brought together over 500 clinicians and scientists from 21 countries to focus on applying science and technology to fight diabetes.
The meeting’s goal is to assemble technology developers and users to facilitate the creation of new and cost-effective tools to help people with diabetes. FDA officials will participate to update attendees on current US regulatory policies. The meeting will particularly emphasize original data. Scientists and clinicians will have plenty of opportunities to share ideas in both formal and informal setting.
The format will include state-of-the-art lectures, oral presentations of abstracts, panel discussions with Q & A sessions, and two poster sessions. The submitted abstracts will be available to all attendees.
Every attendee will receive a one-year subscription to Journal of Diabetes Science and Technology. This peer-reviewed bimonthly scientific journal is indexed by the National Library of Medicine for MEDLINE/PubMed and is the world's first purely electronic diabetes journal (http://journals.sagepub.com/home/dst).
We look forward to seeing you in Bethesda and sharing information about projects of mutual interest.
