The 7th Annual Radiation Oncology Education for the Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant, taking place from September 26th to 28th, 2024, aims to enhance the knowledge and collaborative practice of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in Radiation Oncology. This course focuses on treatment strategies, care coordination, and symptom management for patients undergoing radiation therapy. APPs within the specialty will engage in discussions and initiatives to optimize patient care. Through shared insights and best practices, participants will expand their understanding and refine their approach to addressing the unique challenges and needs of patients receiving radiation treatments.
