The Alabama Vascular Society's Annual Meeting welcomes Vascular and Endovascular Surgeons, Vascular RNs, PAs, NPs, RTs, RVTs, and Vascular Trainees from Alabama and the Florida panhandle region. Scheduled from August 1st to 3rd, 2024, the event aims to facilitate critical assessment of Vascular and Endovascular interventions' performance and differentiate outcomes compared to surgical procedures. It covers topics such as visceral revascularization methods, perioperative outcomes of aortic revascularization strategies, interventions for cerebrovascular disease, and efficacy of lower extremity endovascular revascularization. Attendees will also explore areas including education improvement for trainees, factors affecting carotid revascularization outcomes, and advancements in treating vascular disease through surgical, endovascular, and medical therapies. Moreover, basic science research in vascular surgery will be highlighted.
