Leeds, United Kingdom
After the last two years we felt that returning to the theme of how projects, teams and businesses can deliver improved health and safety outcomes using digital processes was an important theme to revisit. The BIM 4 Health and Safety group will be presenting the guidance that they have created as part of a major project delivered by this UK BIM Alliance Community group. This information has now been added to the UK BIM Framework and helps teams identify and track health and safety risks digitally by ensuring the right questions are being asked by Organisations and Project teams. How do your teams ensure healthier and safer outcomes on sites? What can digital do to improve this?
Secondly we are thrilled to bring you a local initiative from Yorkshire-based SME contractor Sewell Construction who has been testing virtual reality tools for improved safety management in a joint project with Sheffield Hallam University. They will be sharing the benefits they have found from integrating virtual reality tools to existing processes that offer an immersive approach to logistics planning and the communication of safety risk. So join us on June 15th at Squire Patton Boggs in Leeds for an afternoon of keynote presentations, the opportunity to share and learn at our round-table discussions and the return of the infamous 4o’clock spot too.
