This panel session will describe sustainable strategies to increase access to pediatric behavioral health, early intervention and preventive services for children, during the COVID19 pandemic and beyond.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe recent trends in the behavioral health challenges that children and families are experiencing through the COVID-19 pandemic
- Discuss effective techniques and resources to identify and address behavioral health issues through telehealth and in-person visits
- Identify best practices and opportunities for engaging primary care providers to incorporate behavioral health screenings and treatment into well child care
- Identify best practices and opportunities for engagement, and to ensure prompt access to integrated behavioral health services
- Gain further insight into the continuum of behavioral health services and collaborations between primary care and hospital-based services
