Bone Marrow Failure Disorders comprise a group of heritable or acquired conditions that lead to loss or profound suppression of blood cell production to be fatal. Experts at over 40 Children’s Hospitals and Research Centers across North America have collaborated over the past decade to make inroads in improving diagnostic capabilities and treatments. Many of the advances brought to the clinic are fueled by basic and translational research in Hematology, Stem Cell Biology, and Immunology.
