This training will help participants gain an understanding on how community nutrition programming can be a public health intervention to encourage healthy eating, combat chronic disease and promote healthy living in our communities.Discussions look at various community nutrition models, programming issues to be aware of, marketing efforts to increase participation rates, methods to fund programming and provide general recommendations on enhancing your new or existing program.This workshop is open to any organization in Texas.
