UCI Health Aims to Improve Remote Patient Monitoring via AI Partnership
To support continuous artificial intelligence-powered remote monitoring of acute and post-acute care, UCI Health has announced a multi-year agreement with Biofourmis, a Boston-based global lead in digital therapeutics and virtual care.
With Biofourmis’ solutions, UCI Health is planning to establish a virtual care platform for remote patient monitoring (RPM) and hospital-at-home initiatives. Additionally, just last month, UCI Health announced a partnership with DispatchHealth to coordinate and deliver care directly in patients’ homes.
RPM is a method of healthcare delivery that utilizes information technology to gather patient data outside traditional healthcare settings. It allows physicians to provide care to the patient when and where they need it.
