QRCS Provides Surgical, Medical Care for IDPs in Somalia [EN/AR]

Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) conducted a medical convoy at De Martini Government Hospital in Mogadishu, Somalia, providing surgical and medical care. In cooperation with Somalia’s Ministry of Health, the $114,212 project targeted impoverished communities, especially internally displaced persons (IDPs). It served 736 outpatients, conducted 494 lab tests, and facilitated surgeries for 242 individuals. Additionally, it refurbished the hospital's operating room and surpassed the action plan's goals by conducting 600 exams, 200 procedures, 400 prescriptions, postoperative care, and offering capacity-building for local medical professionals, exceeding expectations.
