How One Health System is Transforming in Response to Covid-19
Before Covid-19, about 40 telehealth visits averaged per day across our system. As with many hospital systems, a variety of factors including patient and provider reluctance and reimbursement constraints inhibited wide adoption. Now, because of the crisis, telehealth vista per day are averaging 4,000 to 5,000 telehealth visits daily (40% of which are video visits).
