Factoring in Caregivers Adds Value to a Telehealth Program
Telehealth programs are so focused on connecting the patient with the provider that they sometimes forget about the other person in the room: the caregiver. And that’s a problem. Family members and friends who care for loved ones can help improve care management at home by playing an active role in telehealth, either through helping the patient or contributing their own insights.
