Apollo Introduces Comprehensive Connected Care Services
Apollo has launched a comprehensive connected care program, powered by their Connected Care technology, providing clinical teams and nursing staff with real-time patient insights across various care points in the patient journey. Their Enhanced Connected Care program, initiated this year, has shown substantial quality and safety improvements, enhancing the overall patient experience. This includes saving one hour of nursing time per shift, reducing ICU readmissions by 30%, detecting 8-10 early warning critical alerts per 100 monitored beds, and almost zero code blue calls. Over 1000 beds across Apollo units in Hyderabad and Bangalore have real-time patient monitoring, with plans to add 2000 more connected beds for in-patients by year-end. Jayanagar and Hyderguda hospitals in Bangalore and Hyderabad are India's first fully smart hospitals, offering Enhanced Connected Care to all in-patients.
