Managing Medicare Beneficiaries With Chronic Conditions During the COVID-19 Pandemic
CMS has implemented policies to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on beneficiaries with chronic conditions. CMS waivers have expanded telemedicine services and shifted more services toward outpatient and home-based care settings. Options that continue and expand current policies may help ensure continued timely access to care for this population.
